Before you can search inventory data, you must designate the period you want to search (e.g., June 2004) on the Main Setup window. Once the period is selected, you can further screen your data using the filtering options provided.
To select the search period:
From the Main Setup window, select the period for which you want to search from the Period drop-down list.
Select the product for which you want to search from the Product drop-down list.
Optionally, enter the threshold percentage
in the Threshold field.
The Minimum Inventory Offset/Limit
field is displayed. This field is primarily used to determine the variance
within 1% of sales.
NOTE: This field is only displayed when you enter a threshold amount.
Enter the minimum offset/limit in the Minimum Inventory Offset/Limit field.
Click Create List at the bottom of the Main Setup window.
A summary of search results are displayed in the Site List window.
The following information is displayed on the screen:
· Site ID: The site ID number |
· Deliveries: The amount of gallons delivered. |
· Product Label: The type of product located at the site. |
· Sales Variance: The result of the comparison between physical inventory and calculated inventory. |
· Prod. Num: The product ID number. |
· Threshold: The percentage of a site's throughput (i.e., how much gasoline has been detected as "sales" by the FMS system). |
· Sales: The amount of sales in gallons for each product. |
· Status: Indicates the current inventory status.

To view a detailed summary of the search results, click the desired link in the Site ID column.
