Output of Search Results

If you do not want to view the results of a search on-screen, you can output the results to a printer, e-mail or save (export) them to a Microsoft Excel file.

To print search results:

  1. Once you have completed your search and the results are displayed in the Site List window, click the Output button at the bottom of the Main Setup window.

    The output options are displayed.

  2. Click To Printer (or Cancel to return to the previous screen).

    The Print window is displayed.

  3. Select the appropriate printer; then click Print.

    The search results are sent to the selected printer.

  4. On the Main Setup window, select the click here when finished link to continue.

To email search results:

  1. Click the Output button at the bottom of the Main Setup window.

    The output options are displayed.

  2. Click To Email  (or Cancel to return to the previous screen).

    The Output to Email window is displayed.

  3. Enter in the To field the email address to which you want to send the results (e.g., jdoe@acmecompany.com).

NOTE: If you want to send to multiple recipients, separate email addresses with a comma (e.g., jdoe@acmecompany.com, kdoe@xyz.com)

  1. Enter in the Subject field the subject of the email.

  2. Optionally, enter comments in the Body field.

  3. Click Send.

    The results are emailed to the recipient(s) in the form of an attachment. This attachment can be opened in Microsoft Excel.

  4. To view a sample of an email, click here.

To save results to a file:

  1. Click the Output button at the bottom of the Main Setup window.

    The output options are displayed.

  2. Click To File  (or Cancel to return to the previous screen).

    The File Download window is displayed.

  3. Click Save.

    The Save As window is displayed.

  4. Browse to the location to which you want to save the file.

  5. Optionally, type a new name for the file in the File Name field.

  6. Click Save.

  7. On the Main Setup window, select the click here when finished link to continue.
